PhotoHello and welcome, my name is Rudi Coleano.
Let me tell you alittle bit about myself and the History so far!
In 1996 at the age of 16 i turned Professional with Barnsley F.C. and in that time experienced life in "The Premiership"

Sadly 4' years later on my career was cut very short after a serious injury to my right shoulder.
After numerous operations that were deemed unsuccessful it was decided that it was time for me to Sadly hang up my gloves and end my playing career in April 2002.
A few years on and i decided to start up my own Goalkeeping Schools "Elite Goalkeeping UK.Com"
In the same year i was offered a coaching role at my home town club, Leeds United, to work in the goalkeeping Development centre's and Academy at Thorp Arch.
After a further year i then received my UEFA "B" Coaching Licence and now working towards my "A" Coaching Licence.
I was offered a great opportunity to move back to my old Professional club Barnsley F.C as "Head Academy Goalkeeping Coach", which i proudly accepted.

2 years later i was offered a move back to Leeds United for a further 8 years Coaching the Academy's elite, Scholars and the young Professionals until 2012.

Later that summer due to EPPP Changes i left Leeds United and moved back across the Pond in 2013 back to Barnsley Football Club to oversee the Academy Goalkeepers Until the end of the 2013/14 Season.

At the start of 2014 i made an extremely difficult decision and decided to step away from Professional Football Clubs for a little while and concentrate on my own
Elite Goalkeeping Schools around Leeds and West Yorkshire.
This way we can talent recognise through the Elite Goalkeeping UK system of any up and coming talented young Goalkeepers to make a path way in to Development centres and Academies at Professional Clubs and to create better opportunities for young up and coming Goalkeepers to Learn and develop the correct skills and Techniques to improve to what ever level they desire - its important to make the sessions fun and to give realistic targets to individual age groups to advance and to potentially create the Next Generation of Young Professional Goalkeepers of Today!!!

I guess i spoke too soon haha! "earlier this July i was asked to go back to Leeds United over Pre - Season and Work the Professional Goalkeepers.
Neil Redfearn called me and asked if i was available to come in and take the GK Coaching role whilst the 1st Team was away in Italy on a pre-season tour and to look after the 18's - 21's Goalkeepers including 1st Team Keeper "Paddy Kenny" to put them All through their paces in training and help prepare them for the up and coming games in their pre season calendar.
Which i happily did.
It was a Brilliant couple of weeks and the lads have trained extremely hard and are looking very sharp and looking forward to the challenge ahead this coming season.

In that time Neil Redfearn kindly offered me a Full-Time Job at the club as Head Academy GK Coach but sadly due to my other work commitments and my own Goalkeeping Schools i was unable to accept this generous offer and found it hard to commit to the Full - Time role.
But it wasn't all sad news i have agreed to work in the Academy Part Time and help oversee the young GK talent at Leeds United Academy and help improve the development and Potential coming through the ranks which i'm really looking forward to come the New Season.

Ingredients Needed: Hard Work - Desire and self belief!
